FAIRFIELD, CA, UNITED STATES, March 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Harvest Snaps is proud to support the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance in its grand opening of the Denny Sanford Elephant Valley at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park on March 5th. The largest and most transformative project in the alliance’s 109-year history, the new habitat is designed to foster empathy, understanding, and a lasting appreciation for elephants, while igniting a desire to protect them and their native habitats. The brand collaboration, which runs March through June, aligns Harvest Snaps to this celebratory moment while connecting the brand to family-, nature- and purpose-driven experiences at one of Southern California’s most beloved destinations.— Maiko Shimano, director of marketing at Calbee America, Inc.
The integrated activation begins at the park, where Harvest Snaps’ baked snacks—crafted with real veggies as the first ingredient—will be included in more than 500 VIP goodie bags at a private, opening day event. To further engage families, the brand is hosting a geo-targeted social media sweepstakes offering one family a four-pack of one-day tickets to the Safari Park (a $312 value), along with a variety of Harvest Snaps better-for-you snacks. This will kick off on March 6th.
The collaboration will also come to life through retail demos at Sprouts locations across the San Diego area, including stores near the Safari Park. Sampling tables will feature signage and a QR code directing shoppers to enter the sweepstakes, while influencer content will amplify the activation across social platforms. Harvest Snaps, which anticipates providing 6,600 to 7,650 total samples as part of the partnership, will also be recognized as a “Web Featured Partner” on the Safari Park homepage.
“Elephant Valley is an exciting milestone for the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance, and we’re honored to be part of this momentous conservation initiative,” said Maiko Shimano, director of marketing at Calbee America, Inc. “Partnerships like this are central to how we extend Harvest Snaps beyond the shelf, connecting with consumers through experiential and community-driven engagement.”
“The grand opening of the Denny Sanford Elephant Valley marks a transformative moment in our mission to inspire empathy and action for wildlife conservation,” said David Miller, Chief Marketing Officer of San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance. “Partnering with Harvest Snaps allows us to amplify this milestone while creating meaningful experiences for our guests and highlighting the importance of protecting elephants and their natural habitats. Together, we’re bringing this vision to life in a way that resonates far beyond the Safari Park.”
