Isaac Jean-Paul's parents were told not to hold him back. Out of love, they almost did. His TEDxBeverlyGrove talk on the Kindness Ceiling is now live.

We don't handicap people. We handicap environments.”

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA, UNITED STATES, October 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Isaac Jean-Paul, a two-time Paralympic medalist and world-record-setting high jumper, has released his TEDxBeverlyGrove 2026 talk, "The Kindness Ceiling," naming a pattern he has watched unfold across sport, school, family, and leadership: the moment help quietly lowers the standard instead of raising the structure around it.

"We don't handicap people. We handicap environments."
— Isaac Jean-Paul, Two-time Paralympic Medalist

Delivered March 14, 2026 at the Marilyn Monroe Theatre in West Hollywood, the talk traces the idea back to Jean-Paul's own childhood, when his parents' fear over his legal blindness nearly kept him off the football field entirely, and to the coaching career he later built at San Diego State working with adaptive athletes.

The talk is now live as part of TEDxBeverlyGrove's full 2026 speaker series distribution, produced by Marvin V. Acuna.
